“Remind me again
why we’re kidnapping humans?” That we the first thing I heard as I awoke,
feeling my arms and legs being held by something cold and slightly squishy.
“Because their
literary the dumbest species in the universe, duh! I mean what else would be dumb
enough to jump into a waterfall?” There was a gurglely, laughter like noise.
“I know,
talk about stupid! At least the queen will be happy to have another human to
add to her collection.” I opened my eyes to find myself being carried by the tentacles
of two strange creatures I’ve never seen before. One of them glances disinterestedly
at me.
“Huh. This
one’s alive.” Then one holding my feet says.
