The Ultimate Revolution

Environment vs. Individual

I love how he immediately jumps to the point of revolutions trying to adjust the environment in order to manipulate the individual. This can be seen throughout time as dictators and totalitarian governments shift the environment to hopefully force the individual into a mindset. However he also says this Ultimate Revolution is upon us, in which the people submit willingly to their control. "Enjoyment of servitude". He says that is beginning to occur and that is frightening. Nonviolent methods of control, the ones of scientific dictatorships, will use this willing servitude because it is more efficient. Not having to constantly regulate the people, as they enjoy it, it will succeed. He mentions that we are more aware at what we are doing and more effective at implementing the stepping stones it would take to implement such a regime. Overall, he makes many good points and i very frightening.
