Keep It Goin' 2: Electric Boogaloo

Here we go! And here are the rules.

1. No fan fiction. Short allusions are okay, but no narratives. No The Office allusions--I think we've drained that well.
2. No "it was just a dream!" realizations. This includes other similar conceits, such as "it was just the imaginings of an autistic boy looking at a snow globe!".
3. Accept the previous writer's premises.
4. Make it easy for someone to follow you--don't make the story too obscure.
5. Write at least one paragraph.
6. Language and scenarios should be school appropriate.
7. Be creative and have fun!

I walk into the classroom A324, eyes assaulted by the unnaturally bright light. It's my first time back since November 29. It's at once familiar and foreign: same smells, different seating arrangement, same core slogans on the wall posters, different people. None of these Watchers nor Students had been around on November 29--I'm the only one who came back. I take a deep breath and count to ten as I exhale.

"Riley Greenleaf?" I hear a voice from the back of the room. It's a red-haired Watcher, looking at me intently.

"Ah, yes. I'm Riley." I turned to face the Watcher.

"Let's go out in the hall. I need to prep you before we begin."

And just like that, I leave classroom A234 behind.
