Responding to Mrs. Carnes

The Watcher began to explain to me how all of the previous students had been selected over the break for a new experimental class. The class, if it worked, would replace the class I was currently in. He told me that they had lost my contact info and that is why I was not selected for the class with the rest of my fellow classmates.
I asked why the Watchers where different people and he told me that the Director thought it best to keep the same watchers with the chosen students to help them through this transition in their classes. He then continued to tell me how this new class could entirely remove the effects of PTSD and not just treat the symptoms like the class I was currently in. He informed me of how, if the class was successful, that I would be the next candidate in line to take it since they had screwed up and not included me in the first one. He finished his breathing and headed back into the classroom. I took another deep breath and counted to ten before following him inside.
