When you try your best but you dont succeed

So music is pretty great. It can set the mood for literally anything. Film-makers do this quite often (film scores and soundtracks). The art of causing an emotional response to music is quite impressive. Poems just dont do that for me. To me it is similar as looking at a pretty picture. I can appreciate the beauty of the picture, but it is not the most effective form of communication. Same goes for poetry and song. I love music, and oftentimes catch myself with a song stuck in my head, but it doesn't convey an idea to me as clearly as writing does. It can dictate my mood though, so I gotta be careful about that. Its funny though because often in situations I find that lyrics of certain songs fit pretty nicely. The opening line from "Fix You" by Coldplay (When you try your best but you dont succeed) is particularly fun to sing when someone attempts something but doesn't quite get it right. Its just a lot more fun to have a jam sesh with music than poetry. :)
