I think that people like music better than poetry because of
the rhythms and melodies songs have. A poem can have deep and moving words, but
a song can have much more. A song can have not only lyrics just as moving as a
poem, but also a tune or instrumental section that adds more meaning and
emotion to the song more just words can. Songs are also more popular due to
more it being easier to access them than poems. Almost everyone has turned on
the radio, or watched a music video, or even heard the theme song of their favorite
show. But much less people have went to the library or online to read a poem.
