Ted talks

During the Ted talks the speaker always does an incredible job of keeping the audiences attention. They use a powerful hook to draw the listener in and then they drive home their point by supporting it with facts and statistics. They present you with a problem you never knew you had and convince you that it truly is a problem. Then they make the audience think. They keep their attention by relating it back to each audience member. Then they provide a simple and practical solution to the problem. They all have incredible speaking skills and pause for laughter. They are very funny but still serious. It is the perfect balance. They stay grounded and do not sway back and forth. They keep their hands in a central position. Words like um and uh are never used.
